Livestock in north west Victoria are being relocated, after major flooding in Kerang and surrounding areas.
Dairy farmers have sent cows to farms on higher ground for most of the week.
United Dairy Farmers' Andrew Leahy says farmers have tried keep cows on properties for as long as they can.
But now water is forcing stock to be moved.
"People have offered to take 50 or 60 more cows or a hundred cows so people are doing a bit more work themselves on other places to help the people that have been inundated by water," he says.
